Extrusion is a shaping process that is used, among other things, for thermoplastics. The process involves the continuous pressing of solid to viscous masses (e.g. plastic granules) through an opening that shapes the material under high pressure and usually also at high temperatures. This produces a body of almost any desired length, whose cross-section corresponds to that of the die opening. At Globus Thermoplast, we use our 19 extruders to extrude round and flat extrudates.
Tempering describes the heat treatment of plastics and other materials. The aim of this process is to obtain specific desirable performance characteristics. In the case of plastics, this is achieved through warm storage. This takes place in a circulating air oven with temperature regulation.
Do you require your semi-finished products in specific dimensions to suit your needs? We are happy to take over the work of blank cutting for you and saw or plane your products in accordance with your wishes.
Do you require your components ready for installation or at least machined to a great extent? We create your desired products based on your sketches and product specifications. We have a large number of metal-cutting production machines available for this purpose, including CNC turning machines with and without bar feeders as well as various machining centres. Within the following limits, we are able to offer you a variety of geometries.
We would be happy to provide you with more detailed information if you require. Click below to go to the list of possible contact partners.
